Germany
The Multi-District (MD) Germany (MD111) is made up of 16 Districts which are each represented by a District-Governor.
The 16 District-Governors form the Board of Governors and elect their chairman either from their own ranks or to ensure continuity from the Past Board of Governors. The Chairman of the Board represents Lions at national and international levels.
The 16 Governors and the Chairman form the Board of Governors, which meets four times a year and which among other tasks, prepares and holds the Multi-District-Meeting (MDM, the top executive body of the MD). The Board of Governors also coordinates the Lions movement in Germany with the help of financial aid from Board Committees by delegating relevant themes and questions.
